A belated post for ALAN


I know that its the 8th of jan 2006 (3 more months till pink ic :) ). It has been 8 days since new year eve. However, i still have to back date to the excellent nye part we had cos alan will kill me if i don't...lol

The nye salsa bbq party we had at Alan's house was a blast!!! It was a night of good food, great drinks, excellent music, fun and games but best of all, SALSA!!!!

We meet at kovan mrt and trooped of to alan's house nearby ( his house is biiiigggg btw.). Then, we kicked of the party with the food... Did i mention the food was great? Yup. There was lotsa chicken chops, satay, otah, baby squid, garlic bread, soft drinks... ... AND A BOTTLE OF GREAT TEQUILA, courtesy of WeiMing. Anyways, after we started, there was no stopping.

We ate, drank and danced the night away. There was happiness and gayity (not the homo kind mind you) in the air. The tequila definately played a part. When we got tired, we settled down for a few games of taboo and win lose or draw.... ... (on this note, i wish to add that i always thought that the only people who play these are kids and students during orientation cos my friends and i usually just chill over drinks and xbox or ps2 when we got nothing to do....lol) Caught up with my inner child. Alan also put on a splendid performance with his guitar and later violin for us. He seriously plays them both very well. I was almost moved to tears... then again maybe not ...lol

We went on and on untill around 3am??!?? We ended the event with another round of makan at a nearby coffee shop. I like to thank alan for organising such a wonderful party for us all. Have a wonderful year ahead :)
